I've eaten a can. It slices. It grates. It melts. In every respect, it's like the cheese you buy at the deli counter in your grocery store. I'm hoping the shelf life is everything I'm expecting, because this is a great product to have in long-term storage. On the day you have to eat your preps, think how great it will be to find real cheese in your panty
